Are you ready to say goodbye to the vicious circle
of muscle tension and mental stress?

Introducing …

Let me tell you, you’re not the only one. Seven years ago, while I was in graduate school, I spent long hours on assignments at the computer. The longer I sat, the stiffer my body got and the duller my mind got. And even though I was studying how to optimize physical fitness and wellness (so I KNEW better), I kept thinking …”just another 20 minutes, just another 20 minutes, I don’t have time to exercise right now.”  By the time my husband got home from work, I would be tight and miserable, frustrated by my distracted, anxious mind, and not the most pleasant person to be around. I felt like the wicked witch, and that wasn’t who I really was.

The inspiration for these Mindful Movement Video Breaks came when I’d finally had enough. I was learning and personally practicing a style of yoga that focuses on strategically choosing movements to address certain parts of the body – like the back, neck or shoulders. But even more miraculously, I found that when the movements are combined with conscious breathing techniques, then you can rapidy create various emotional and mental effects — like calming down, awakening and energizing, or sharpening your mental ability to focus and concentrate.

Here’s what one of my clients has to say about the Mindful Movement practices.

A typical yoga practice or exercise session lasts an hour or more. But by being very deliberate in choice of movement and breathwork, you can create huge shifts in energy and physical well-being in just 10-15 minutes. That’s what I’ve designed into your Mindful Movement Video Breaks.

Most of us already have a couple 15 minute breaks built into our day. So you can easily follow along with a video during that time and return to your responsibilities in a timely manner, feeling relaxed, refreshed and ready to focus again.

My clients know that this works. I often provide them 10-15 minute practices to do outside of the studio. They report that they easily fit it into their day and it’s easy to stay consistent. After each practice they feel refreshed, relaxed, happy and calm — as if they’ve washed away physical and mental tension.

When you do the Mindful Movement practices once, you’ll immediately feel a benefit. By using the practices on a regular basis, the cumulative effects are even greater.  You’ll reduce the causes of physical discomfort and learn how to train your awareness so you can shift into mental calm and raise your energy more easily.

These Mindful Movement Video Breaks offer you:

You don’t have to feel like tension and anxious worry are taking you over anymore. You don’t have feel like there is not enough time in the day to take care of yourself. And you don’t have to get sweaty and sore. Because in the Mindful Movement Video Breaks I integrate the three most important secrets I’ve discovered about increasing your health and well-being.

Secret #1: It’s not all or nothing. If you can’t exercise for an hour a day, even 10 minutes is way better than nothing. (And if you DO already exercise, then these Video Breaks will be a welcome re-connection to the benefits of exercise throughout your day.)

Secret #2: The body is made to move. All of our modern conveniences are fabulous, but our bodies often suffer because of them. Movement is necessary not only for the health of your muscles and joints, but also to keep your digestion, elimination, and immune systems functionally optimally.

Secret #3: The breath is your greatest ally for health and well-being. Easy to overlook because it’s automatic from the moment we’re born until we die, the breath is probably the most important natural tool for decreasing stress, balancing the nervous system, and increasing longevity and quality of life.

I have guided hundreds of people in Mindful Movement Breaks: at seminars, retreats and workshops. Every time, I’ve been asked by participants to create videos so that they can continue to benefit from them at home or work and give them to loved ones who need more calm and less tension in their lives.

So here they are!
