Create health, healing and well-being through the power of yogic breathwork.
Pranayama is considered one of the greatest and most unique contributions of yoga to the world. It can be used for to improve overall wellness at multiple levels: physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
This course of study includes practices of various types of breathwork for different purposes (such as calming down, re-energizing, and creating mental focus), as well as an exploration of how and why it works.
Daily home practices are assigned between class sessions so you can understand the teachings at a personal level and begin to know what works best for you at this time of your life.
Course includes: 4 group sessions from 6:00 – 7:30 pm (Oct 3, 10, 24 and Nov 7), 1 private session with Lorna to develop a personalized practice, and recordings of all the group sessions for your continued personal use. Suitable for all levels.
